Publisher NGames has unveiled two new events to celebrate the release of “Chapter 4: Battle of Marineford”, the thrilling latest chapter to hit One Piece MMORPG, Pockie Pirates.
Launched on October 16th, Pockie Pirates – Chapter 4: Clashes of Marineford expands the adventures of Luffy and friends with new challenges to overcome and All Blue crew members to recruit.
To celebrate, NGames have announced two fantastic events, one in game and one on Facebook.
The Davy Back Fight (Battle of Foxy the Silver Fox) Event is available in game for all players over Level 70.
Once per day, players may take part in a 5 stage battle, with 5 monsters per stage. A player can only advance to the next stage if their level is high enough and every enemy defeated will provide a huge amount of EXP.
In the first round of battles, players have 5 members, with the lower power member being removed each round until the 5th round where the player is left with 1 fighter. At any point from the 2nd round, the player can spend 100 Gold to summon Straw Hat Luffy to aid them in their battle, but he can only help one time.
Not only is there an in game event, but a Facebook one too. The Facebook Halloween Event gives fans the chance to win some unique and wonderful in game items.
The first event, “Happy Halloween,” which runs from 25th October – 31st October requires participants to edit a picture of their favourite character in One Piece or Pockie Pirates by adding pumpkins in the background and turning the character into a werewolf, witch, wizard, cat, Death, mummy or a vampire.
The second event “OP Halloween Story” runs from Oct 27th – Oct 29th and participants must Write a story or draw a four-cell manga with dialogue in each cell about a character from Pockie Pirates or One Piece anime depicting their Halloween antics!
The “Trick or Treat Event” running from Oct 30th – Oct 31st tasks players with creating a picture with the king of TRICK. A Character from Pockie Pirates or One Piece anime must be included in the picture.
Rules
Your entry for all 3 events should include these parts:
1. There should be a quote below the photo that references Halloween and your chosen character.
2. The Pockie Pirates Logo must be included in your work（Download here ).
3. Don’t forget to write your server and In-game Name below your entry.
The winner in each event will receive 8 Pumpkin Lamps and 5 Warship upgrade cards.
The 9 runners up in each event will be given 10 Sweet Candy Boxes
One Pumpkin Lamp will random give you one of following items: Vitality Potion, Advanced Energy Ball, Salvage Rope, Lv.3 Shell Chest, Gold Card, Mega Silver Card.
One Sweet Candy Box will randomly give you one of following items: Vitality Potion (Small), Primary Energy Ball, Avatar Card, Warship Upgrade Card, Lv.1 Shell Chest, Medium Silver Card.
Terms and Conditions
The best entries will be uploaded to the Pockie Pirates Facebook on October 31st and the top 3 will be chosen by their popularity and quality. We’ll upload some excellent entries to our Facebook on October 31th for your review and choose top 3 winners on Octobe31th based on popularity and quality.
Winners will be announced on Nov. 1th, 2012 on the Pockie Pirates official site. Rewards will be sent within 3 to 5 working days after the announcement. Every account can claim reward once only.
In the event of two identical works, the one that is uploaded later will be disqualified.
Rewards will be sent according to the information you left when uploading the work. Please be careful when you submit your information. If rewards cannot be sent because of incorrect information, the player will be regarded as giving up the right to claim rewards.
